You wouldn’t think that finding a home that actually had internet service would be the hardest part of house shopping in 2018...

Satellite internet does not count as internet. Also my statements apply to the US market only. Idk how bad this is in other countries.

    @njpugh90 I would be somewhat happy to get a reliable 2mbps connection with reasonable latency and have a nice farm or heck even like 3-5 acres. It seems that everything that’s more than a 1 acre lot in a neighborhood just doesn’t get anything but satellite which is dial up speed (think in terms of kbps) with 2 minute latency times. Satellite companies boast decent speeds but the got that one time during a solar flare. Plus the latency will always be un useable. It’s kind of inherent to the design

    USA is a good example how capitalism fails. Look at mobile carriers, ISPs and healthcare. Greetings from Finland "the socialist scandinavia" 😂

    @pullervo it sucks. We have plenty of money to fix it, but you know the most subsidized industry in the US? Oil. For no reason...well, I guess France showed us folks will riot about gas prices.
