Get into bed.

Gets all comfy.

About to drift off.

Realizes solution for the problem I have spent all week on.

Now wide awake.

Guess who's not sleeping tonight!

That's because the brain is the most creative when you're relaxed. Things like Having a shower or going to sleep are the best things to get creative ideas

Tell yourself that you are gonna remember it next morning...

But something keeps telling you to get up and jot it down...

Too lazy to get up but too scared to let go the idea...

    Gets up, codes the solution.

4 hours pass, and you're stuck with the original solution.

    Solution was incomplete.

Just gave the 366th ++ for this rant. Now the ++ count is only cool every four years.

After years with the same old bed base, it's time for a change. I’ve heard that the type of bed base can significantly affect sleep quality. I’m considering options like adjustable bases, platform beds, and traditional box springs. What should I look for in a bed base to ensure it’s comfortable and supportive?

I've found that choosing the right bed base can really impact your sleep quality. When I was deciding between adjustable bases, platform beds, and traditional box springs, I looked at the support each type offered. Adjustable bases are great because you can customize the position, which is especially helpful if you have specific health needs. Platform beds, like the Floating Bed Base I came across on https://quokkabeds.com.au/, offer solid stability with their timber construction and have a modern design that I liked. On the other hand, traditional box springs provide extra cushioning, but they don't work for everyone. I think it's important to pick a bed base that meets your comfort preferences, is durable, and matches your bedroom's look. From my experience, investing in quality materials and construction is crucial for a supportive and long-lasting sleep setup.
