plusgut60377yI have my current employer because of a Headhunter. I got a contract once, after 2 weeks of applying.
But I would say they are worth it, if you are extremely lazy. If you don't want to look for companies yourself and want someone who manages the timing of your interviews, then go for an recruiter.
If you clearly know to what companies you want to go to, and want the best salary possible, go without a headhunter.
P.S. recruiters are liars, never trust them. -
That's the paradox about recruiters. They will only bother with you if you are a rockstar. And if you are a rockstar you don't really need a recruiter.

Python55587yMy experience is that it really depends. If a recruiter doesn't know anything about what he's hiring for, I don't bother. If it's a recruiter directly from the company hiring It's a lot better.
