I finally turned my MSI laptop into a fully functioning dev machine. I just activated Windows Linux Subsystem, and got XCFE4 to run, then installed some Jetbrain IDEs ontop of it. And I'm straight up in business. Now I don't need to go out and buy the new shitty Macbook pros for $3k

    I use MSI too, it can only runs for 3 hours unplugged :)

    @resoftw you unplug it?😂 Ive gotten so used to it that I've stopped changing positions and just sit at the desk constantly

    Yeah MSI battery sucks. I only use it when I can stay plugged in

    @dtaposh The Starbucks near me has a lot of charging ports, but they're typically hidden under the table. Most people who come in don't know that, so they're always free outlets for me.
