@ebourgess I'm not surprised, they get people none the less unfortunately. Maybe not the creme de crop but they will still get people.
Having said that, most companies have big disjoint between recruitment department and the team which you would join. You interact with these recruitment till you get job, so I won't sweat it much. For me my immediate team and the work environment with them matters more than some stuck up ignorant recruiter.
