A month ago, I watched anime for the first time. I fell in love with it.
Am I living up to the stereotype of "IT geek = Weeb"?

    As long as you don't use "Japanese" Order in every sentence (e.g. "Baka", etc.), I think you're good.

    The Boy and the Beast (Bakemono no Ko)

    Steins gate, parasyte, angel beats, clanned after story, death note, rezero, code geass are the must watch for everyone.

    Everything you mentioned is fantastic, with the exception of Code Geass and Death Note IMO.

    Anything by Studio Ghibli, Mamoru Hosada, or Makoto Shinkai are just plain fantastic.
