    But seeing, writing/typing, AND hearing new information simultaneously boosts the rate of retention, and that’s #facts.

    On one hand, my assembly teacher doesn't even use his own slides, but without his guidance through them, it's extremely hard to really get the concepts since there are so many small details the slides don't cover. Then when you go back and re-read them you now understand the concepts.

    On the other hand, my Physics teacher makes his own slides, but they are terrible and his commentary isn't really any better.

    I had theorical introduction to programming with PPT slides written in Comic Sand in RGB - I mean REALLY RGB, that was the f'in color scheme!
