Having to implement full text and filter search on JSON data using ElasticSearch on a Django app within 24 hours...

Sure client. Should I also insert this flaming metal cactus inside of myself?

    Lubrication is important!

    I'll see myself out!

    I would say 24h no but 48 probably yeah. Full text search is completely available is Elasticsearch, just dump the data adjust the data mapping and see the results, for basic setup ofc

    I am also a giant n00b so probably more than that. I have the JSON from the API loaded into ES and I'm able to view it but I need to do so much more with it and my brain is just mush.

    Another ES noob here but don't you use Kibana? I don't know if it serves your purpose. In fact I didn't even get what exactly your purpose is. xD

    @Charon92 ah if you are working with ES first time then you will feel pain. Sorry for the assumption that you already had some experience with ES

    @py2js

    Sadly none at all. First dive into it. Someone on here mentioned it and it exactly serves my purposes (need to search a very small dataset generated by an API in JSON).

    But they've suddenly decided they need it for tomorrow ans I'm just sat here, knee deep in code after having told them it'll take a whole, wondering what the fuck I'm doing.

    I don't think it does... but again, n00n. So maybe.

    I'll have a look and see if I'm just being a fucking idiot.

    Just had a quick look. Kibana I'd all about data visualisation, so it's not what I need sadly. Plain ol' ES will do the trick.

    Ah well. Good luck to you then.
