    Is that a stochastic process course ? I've Learned that long time ago never used it in real live though

    @undefinedUser the subject is called probability and random processes (e.g. what is the probability of something to happen, terminal states transitioning algorithms, markov chains, what is the probability of a process to die after randomized T time, etc..) usual brainraping stuff

    @senzory Yeah those are called stochastic process ( Markov , Wiener , Bernoulli .. ) would be handy if you're into crypto

    @senzory it already is solved isn't it? At what point do you lose track of the solving process, maybe us university devs can help 😊

    @frickerg its already solved but try solving it on your own without looking at the solution and see how far that'll take you ;)

    That's literally a textbook task =).

    Most math theorems in textbooks have a super complicated development, then things start canceling out and they end up in a beautifully short formula.
    If I were doing that exercise myself, and ended with a formula that long, I'd assume there was a stupid mistake in my work and spend hours finding it.

    @redundandundant it's not about length .. it's about complexity .. the solution is o(1) and that's pretty good
