Translation: "we want an experienced dev for junior salary".
Sometimes they want android developers with 10+ years' experience :P
You probably need a whole re-birth cycle to become lead at this company.
Usually xp required is greater than your age...
There are some companies that don't trust other companies in terms of experience former employees got there, so this is probably the case here.
taglia5993yDon't get me wrong, but what is wrong with you all?
If 5 years of experience makes a dev "a senior", how do you call someone with 15 years of experience? God?
"Junior dev" doesn't mean "someone who just ended its first program". I've 5 years of experience and, honestly, I don't see anything wrong if someone says I'm a junior. Geez :/
@taglia I wouldn't describe a junior as someone who just finished their first program. I applied for this position and at least in Poland there are more things required if you want to apply for this position like understanding unit testing, design patterns, a project on github (with some concrete functionalities), maybe that was my luck, but if you don't have these they will suggest you an internship instead of junior which is OK too I guess
