Why do months fly like crazy bastards up to the ceiling where the light is? Are they retarded or what?

    They have a very primitive navigation which relies on sunlight. Point lighting disrupts it.

    Read that as "Why do months fly like crazy bastards..." and thought: "sure feels that way".

    months? or moths?

    Months, or time really, is moving faster because we are getting closer to the black hole; the whole galaxy is going down like a cosmic toilet.

    @netikras haha I meant moths. Fucking autocorrect.

    @bkwilliams relative to the portion of the galaxy further out, sure, but as it would affect the entire planet more or less the same, we would be completely oblivious to it even if the effect were a thousand magnitudes greater. (Past that the gravitational gradient might be enough to notice on either side of the planet.)

    To illustrate: time actually slows down very very slightly on the daylight side of the planet due to the sun's gravity being a minuscule fraction stronger. Sadly, it's so little that it isn't really measurable.

    @bkwilliams but yep.
    Galaxies are just large accretion disks.
