    @Fast-Nop it's not failing. It's telling you that the content is actually not what you (and the program) expect it to be. It's a statement of facts

    @rEaL-jAsE @endor If I tell a fucking editor to open a fucking TXT file, then it fucking has to do what I say, even if it's a renamed JPG.

    The code editor on Elementary OS is a nightmare anyway.

    I can't even create files through it. I have to use the EOS File explorer to make them and then open them. And the Programming Language syntax selection bar is still accessible even when no file is open. If you select any programming language with no file open, the program crashes.

    Clearly they put no work into it. It's a shame, but I'm glad there are alternatives.
