    Damn, I was planning to get this.

    Time to use Wine/DXVK, I guess

    I actually managed to get to main menu and it run at 50 fps but when launching the game the issue is they push all the stuff to ram snd that is just terrible and eats all your ram in one go. I got 10%ram usage on main screen when i enabled mesa shader caching. OK damn it actually loaded the game and i get 30 fps on all low. But thats because of fucking ram beign 100% full and swap is 60% full and RAM is 6.7 gb because integrated gpu takes that 1.3 gb from my ram and swap is 8gb. So yeah thats why it runs so terrible. Ok i enabled Very high in settings and it looks really fucking good. I mean breath taking graphics and 30 fps still. So its RAM thats holding this game back.

    Oh i forgot the game is runjing in 800x600. So i could actually confirm its the fucking RAM.

    @Haxk20 that is...weird.
    But anyway, here's hoping my 16GB RAM is up to the task.

    @RememberMe If you can get it running then happy you. I cant upgrade my ram sadly since i dont have that money as a student so that sucks for me. Downloading deus ex human revolution which i know doesnt do such shitty things so lets hope that can run on ultra in dxvk

    @RememberMe You know what i might actually use zram. That should compress my ram enough to fit all that crap into it. But well im not gonna do that since it will take lot of cpu power to compress and back again.

    I totally agree, also tried it on linux. Directly uninstalled :P

    @jifuna. Yeah its just purely sad.idk how they got 60 fps in this game on high on linux. Do they have six VEGA 64 in their systems ? Damn my RX560X is able to run anything just not this one. It seems like pure magic to me that they were able to run this on linux. Also guus ehat GPU u are using ? Because "AMD gpus arent officialy supported".

    @Haxk20 yeah, probably haha. I run it on a laptop with a gtx 1050ti
  • 1
    @Jifuna Well my RX560X is tiny bit better then 1050ti and cant do it. But i remeber before i upgraded my GPU drivers to git version it run OK but well i had GPU clocks all low and didnt know about it so maybe i can try switching back to 18.2.3 mesa and see there what it does ? Because this really sucks. But well even if NVIDIA has issues on linux with this game then something isnt right with the game.

    You can try don't know if thats gonna help tho. The only reason I have dualboot on the moment because gpu drivers on Linux really suck and support overall. @Haxk20

    @Jifuna just launched human revolution. All maxed out running 60fps and thats because the game has an fps cap.
  • 1
    @jifuna tbh amd open-source drivers are amazing as you can see. All high and still hitting that fps cap.

    Interestingly now after caching into disk the game actually loads. But only to main menu. Didnt try to game since i had it on very high and that was just too high i guess. Damn i will somehow manage to get this game running whatever it takes. But it really seems it needs more RAM and thats the main problem. Even the game devs said it. It needs so much fucking ram. 8gb just isnt gonna cut it even with swap. Other then that issuecwith RAM the game runs awesome and looks really fucking good.Sad that i cant buy some RAM right now.
