If you bought a new phone in 2018, why?
And why did you get that *model/brand*?
If company phone, then why not just pass?

    Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Lite.
Cheap, big screen, has a Qualcomm SoC, 64-bit ARM but kernel sources don't compile without two small patches and Android will never update to Oreo.
Got as a birthday gift from mom.

Nokia 7 plus. Why? My old battery barely reached 2,5h of screen on time. Nokia 7 plus has Android One, big screen, big battery, 64gb storage. Not too expensive

    ZTE Axon 7
My windows phone died and this was the cheapest high performance phone available at the time

    OnePlus 5t (128gb 8gb RAM version)
Good specs for the price, decent enough camera (I have a DSLR for taking proper photos) and minimal bloatware/OS changes from base Android. Also my iPhone 6 died and none of the Apple offerings tickled my pickle.
    Personal phone.

OnePlus 6 64GB/6GB RAM, i bought it because i wanted to have fast android updates and a powerful phone for the price. It's a very good phone, i can run anything I want on it. The dashcharge is also very fast !

Before i had an Honor 8 and before that one I had a LG G4 but the screen broke.
