Honest to God, I see ML being used in resource allocation of web, so cloud and serverless becomes a thing of the past. You just get fast services most of the time. Also, internet security-wise we will move to a whole new era, and we will continue stopping govts from accessing our data without our permission, even if it means bailing on currently popular social apps.

... Lemme think about the rest... 🤔

Serverless (or FaaS), when implemented properly, means that ahead-of-time resource allocation should never need to be a thing - you just have all your resources in a huge pool, and they're allocated for the brief fraction-of-a-second that your function is running. That's why it's so powerful.

I'd imagine for scaling traditional server / VM backed systems though you're definitely correct - ML would make a lot of sense in that scenario.
