if ssh is more secured then why github recommends https?

    It always shows me the ssh-option first.

    Thinking it is related to stolen ssh certificate keys without passwords.
    They are sort of kingdom lazy

    So a way to meet the masses, is to use something everyone can use, unless said company has an SSL proxy and fucks things over more ☹️

    It's recommended because no company nor institution would be dumb enough to make a firewall rule for port 80 and 443, that's why VPN provider usually use those ports.

    @deodexed I have always thought so as well, until recently when the networking team suddenly decided to close both port 80 and 443 without any notice :D
