How does one go about telling his manager/senior that he’s bored with his work and needs a lot more responsibility.

My company this year has taken on a lot of employees and they seem to think of them as shiny new tools that need assigned to all new projects. Almost like a let’s see what you got approach instead of delegating responsibilities by seniority, experience, etc.

They always make it up to us with cash incentives and what not but there is no price on experience. I’m getting none at this point.
