If people ever think they are secure on what ever platform they use, they are not, humans are no perfect so is their developed/manufactured...etc stuff.

The less you rely on tech the more you are secure from similar incidents.

Now to the second point, paying 1000$ for a smartphone is the main issue here, as these articles (and others) prove, nothing is perfect they are just paying the price of the name "Crapple!"

But I'm sure people will come up with excuses for these articles. But hey, who cares ...
