    First one looks more modern and intuitive

    Left for sure

    i’d love to hear why you chose that one!

    @jaza-k see @dudeking's comment lol

    But it looks a lot nicer to me

    @jaza-k right one: color choice not consistent or poor. Not clear meaning of numbers. Poor fonts/sizing.
    Left one is aesthetically more elegant, and functionality is clear.

    Icons in the right UI can be preferred to "Lap" and "Pause", as more intuitive, but maybe with better icons

    Lleft with the icons from right

    Left is better (according to me) because it more clearly delivers the message. I would have to try a couple of times to find out what the buttons on the right hand side do. Though I think leveling the menu items would make it more clear that they're not completely separate things, if that's what you're aiming for. Nice design to overall :)

    Left one

    It's more an eyecatcher
  • 3
    First, way more intuitive

    However I just noticed now that the left design is not even aligned correctly...The two bottom circle should be aligned with big one...and probably something else is not right for my eyes

    Left one is like UI Porn.

    Right one looks like you through a prototype together because your manager gave you 5 minutes notice of having to do a presentation.

    Oh and the Timer, alarm and stopwatch buttons should be aligned but with the selected one highlighted

    Left one, looks nicer

    @deviloper I think you're right. The bottom circles look slightly pushed to the right 😐 I can't unsee this now.

    @jaza-k, we need a v2 now 😅
  • 3
    Both look good but the one on the left is sweet

    Left one has too many bells and whistles. I'd rather use a simple app like the right one to replace the stock stopwatch on my phone (although a lap feature would be nice)
  • 4
    @C0D4 oh no, i see it now 😂
  • 6
    Left one, the other item doesn’t look balanced at all
  • 2
    Neither
  • 3
    @-red any reason why?

    Left, right one I find both ugly and poorly understandable.
    First I thought the minutes were on top, but then I realized recording 50 seconds made me sense then recording 80 minutes for a test.
    Also why are the seconds so prevalent, did they pay some kind of tip?

    I like the first one and I think the only reason why is that on the second one the numbers are difficult to read. Living in America I’m used to reading left to right and I can easily tell what the reading means on the first design just by glancing vs having to look at bit more carefully at the second design.

    @jaza-k Give the circles on left a solid color. Reduce the time size a bit and the size of the symbols on the buttons and make the red a bit soft.
    Then I would like both.

    first one, but with slightly bigger font size

    Left.
