Hey, quick question. Which one do you prefer the most? From the people I've asked so far, the odds seem to favor 9, 13, and 15 (I agree with not having my name in there because it's too redundant)...

    Is take 13. Maybe 15 depending on the use.

    7 if you can afford to be informal. 13 if your address needs a suit.

    Was in the same situation recently. Ended up going with "this@domain.tld" as an ode to JS.

    Contact or mail is my preference

    Thanks for the input everyone, 13 it is! Now I gotta configure Postfix on my vps for email forwarding with this address :D

    You still haven't defined the question. :-)

    What is the email address for ?

    Personal use ?

    Business use ?

    Technical support ?

    Something else ?

    Shouldn't it be, info@khanabdullah.com ?

    @Nanos hahah you're right. I wanted it to be a general one which still looks professional. People can ask about my projects, or companies can send job offers, etc. It's not for anything particular. The whole purpose is to replace my ugly Gmail address.

    What @ihatecomputers said. I like the sound of that!

    @hacker

    Difficult one that.

    I tend to like a unique email address for everything, then its easier to siphon off the spam ones.

    A single email address could end up swamped.

    A friend of mine who has been using just one for the last 20+ years, gets something like 5,000+ spam emails a day to it !

    @Nanos yikes, that's not good. However, I'll be forwarding this address to my main Gmail address and their spam protection is pretty good so hopefully it should be ok.

    @hacker

    I've never found a good anti-spam solution, often its too overzealous and emails that I should be reading, got stuck in the spam pile.

    Reminds me of sending 'test' emails and finding out so many email systems mark that as spam !

    @Nanos hmmm

    Well, I certainly appreciate your perspective. Let's see how it turns out after some time.

    Haven't even set up the thing yet, hahah

    13 or 15.
    Contact is more formal.
    Mail is good when you're telling people to mail you.
