The fact that W3Schools is still the top result for any CSS keyword I googled for today is the best proof that success in life does not depend in the slightest degree on the quality of your work.

Pile of shit.

What exactly is so bad about W3Schools? Asking as an absolute noob at frontend webdev (I can just barely make a button) , I find it rather handy and have found quite a few answers there.

What’s wrong with w3schools CSS stuff? Are they giving you wrong information?

    I don't see the issue.

I also don't see the problem with w3schools.

It's been a while since I worked with frontend webdev. But back when I started learning about HTML, CSS and PHP, I used w3schools A LOT.

@RememberMe @grumpyoldaf @kescherRant @TangChr I actually ranted about this a few weeks ago as well. The problem is that they more than often provide incomplete coverage of features and functions. Finding the deep details often requires you to read their examples, and it's property tables often lack entries. MDN covers it all much better imo.

Also check out @RTRMS comment here (https://devrant.com/rants/2106311/...). If that's correct W3S is even worse...
