You can see it blink or do you just see the cam-like hole

@WIPocket I can see it blink, it's a very faint red, and you barely ne it. Once you do, you can't unsee it

Why is it blinking anyway when you're just using your phone and not in a call? Do you have some pocket detection enabled?

@dudeking Ok so Im like 99.9% sure its a placebo cuz when I started to see it I turned off my phone and still saw it.
(+ the "outside of visible spectrum" thing...)

@WIPocket check with a camera to see when it actually is lit.

@electrineer Currently dont have a cam that can see IR :/

@WIPocket any cam should do. Even your phone's one through a mirror.

How do you check if your tv remote is out of battery if you don't know that?

@electrineer Uhhh.. No? Modern cams have a filter. You can only really see on old cams / cheap cams / the light isnt true IR

@electrineer I do have pocket mode enabled

@WIPocket the sensors are usually near-IR, which is usually invisible, unless you stare right into the source of light.
Also what electroneer said is true, any modern camera can see near IR, such as a Lazer pointer 808nm+ and remote controls.
