Nanos105301yI found the bearings used on those kind of fans don't last long..
Well, the one I took apart only had half the bearings it should have !
I recommend an old CPU fan wired to a USB plug and screwed to a piece of wood, not only quieter, but designed to last for years ! -

Though they do sound like a jet engine.. -
@Nanos there is no bearing in there even, its just a motor attached to a USB plug and cost me like 50 cents

Nanos105301y@dudeking The one I took apart had a simple sleeve bearing, but only at one end of the motor, it looked like it had been designed that way on purpose.
As such, after a few days of 24/7 the motor started to wobble and then seized up. -

It was the cheapest USB fan from China. :-)

@TheOneFuzzyBit no heatsink because I lost them for both the pis
Also they aren't connected in any way, they are just plugged into the same USB hub for power
