I'm working on a redesign of a website and their logo is so bad… (I made it years ago, but ssshhh)…
And they love it so much, so I can't even change it.

It's killing my creativity, because the only way you can put it seems to be at the top, inside a white header.

I hate its' designer so much… and it's me! Fuck myself.
I designed it thinking about a particular website look, so it was perfect back then, but now I have to do something "new", "different", but without changing the logo.

Any suggestion on where to put it, how, or how kill myself?

    But the new version cannot just be the centered logo… right? lol

    @JS96 eh, can't be assed, drawing on a phone is not a great deal 😂

    Something along these lines, but you could put a quick nav at the bottom of the fold, if it's a multi page site.

    If it's a spa, just add a "scroll down" like icon, probably put a better heading 🤷‍♂️

    If it's high def don't put it in the header. Have a splash with it in the background and a thin translucent div overtop to match your theme cover. Done this a couple times and works like a charm

    @C0D4 just some notes

    - it looks odd with text-align right, almost like you wanted to center it, but gave up after it not working

    - span should not contain other elements (especially images) that aren't things like <b>

    - there's no margin between text and image, so it looks squeezed and claustrophobic

    - you have cloudflare set to check EVERY user, not just suspicious ones, that's ugly default if you're not getting level 7'd

    Actually... you're right, I just haven't cleaned up properly after removing parallax, could be why the image sits slightly to the right and off centre.

    As for cloudflare, I agree it's ugly as fuck, but it better then the constant wave of requests. Even with fail2ban, strange as this is the only place that address is publicly listed, script kiddies will be script kiddies I guess.

    @C0D4 as I mentioned, you can remove that hard default and cloudflare will _still_ challenge bots and people known in the network as danger, there's no need to dick all people down for 5 seconds, it's supposed to be used for hard hit level 7, but I doubt you have that actively. Not to mention that cloudflare protects your origin, so fail2ban is useless in that context anyway.
