If you have "ijk" in your name, you're either Dutch or a matrix.

    Dijkstra comes from the dutch "dijk", which means "levee". We like those, they keep the wet stuff out. "-stra" is a Frisian suffix, meaning "inhabitant", like New York-ER or Berlin-ER.

    So, the lesson is: To become a brilliant computer scientist, you must live on top of a levee. I've been trying this for the last 15 years. I don't think it's working though, at least not the "brilliant" part.
