I'm a beginning developer but I'm not sure if I want to be a frontend or backend developer.
Thanks!

Why thanks. Like "thanks for nothing. Why don't i know better"

@markus The thanks was meant for people who'd help me out with my problem, so I didn't have to thank them all individually.

Then answer this. Does your logics needs representation, or your design needs gears to mage it work?

    What problem? Coding as coding.

I'm starting at front end and moving back, and I hear that's pretty common. Try both and see what jives more initially!

Backend. It's easier, because it's easier to predict how it will be used. Also, everyone and their mom is a frontend dev.

    You're welcome.

Front end is like running multiple sprint races, while backend is like running a marathon. Needless to say, you have to try both to be sure which one you'll love :)
