I decided to overtake my friend's virtual CPU project, gonna make an assembler for it and expand the command set, maybe even create docs for it and make it public for everyone to experiment

    @netikras I realized i really liked the idea. I dont know why I was expecting more from basically an interpreter tbh, maybe the first time I saw this I was underwhelmed

    I would build out the system with simulations of
    Paged memory (so that the address spaces in your programs can be basically as large as you want with only a finite RAM cost)

    If you implement a standard instruction set like RISC-V you can even run compiled programs and collect cool stats from the "CPU" :p

    i've thought of doing this but i'm trash at design and only do Python things.
