Asking a question in StackOverflow is a gamble for your reputation to be very honest.

Have another account to ask stupid shity questions or too lazy to check if already posted

Why having an SO account? Either the question has already been asked, or else, the SO folks these days won't give a useful answer anyway.

Or ask the question here (if that's not against the rules)

@devapsarl good questions are also down voted if you write "an problem" instead of "a problem"

    Can’t agree on that.
Be polite, provide all necessary details and you should be fine..
    At least that’s my experience.

You know, if we know the question we can swarm from devrant to SO and upvote the shit outa it.

Ask a question there and the first answer questions your question. Ask about Windows, get told to install Linux. Ask about Linux, get told to install Windows. Ask how to calculate 1+1 with Python and the first guy tells you to do it with pen and paper.

@thatDude because those questions are stupid.
SO is for deeper, technical questions where google and the documentation can’t help you anymore..

If people are too lazy to do research and post a question to SO instead, then they shouldn’t be surprised if they get downvoted🤷‍♂️

It’s like calling your electricity provider to explain to you how to set up your microwave.

@just8littleBit Damn it, my power company still haven't returned my calls... Been eating take out for a week!

@-ANGRY-STUDENT- And get downvoted by people screaming "THIS ISNT SO"

@just8littleBit , so, I think we have found the annoying guy in the SO...But hey, how would the stupid people know that they are stupid, if the smart ones wouldn't tell it to them.

@thatDude we do tell it to them in comments, marking it as duplicate etc.

@just8littleBit Gotta agree with the OR in this case. I had an account multiple times and asked questions which I couldn't find after ages of searching (search engines and SO) while providing very detailed information but I was usually downvoted for bullshit reasons quite fast.
