    @C0D4 I don't install such apps. The two most important ones I have are an HP42 emulator and Droidfish, both fully open source.

    @Fast-Nop ah, I've got this guy on ios , and it works a charm across everything, but it's at a localised vpn level with custom lists.

    The android equivalents I've found just don't work.

    I mostly use it for the kids to stop pressing random ads in games plus when I don't want to wait 30-60 seconds waiting for some useless ad... plus it's hilarious when a game gives bonus' instantly because it didn't validate the ad played 🤷‍♂️

    @C0D4 I use NetGuard on Android, it's a local VPN that controls app-level internet connections. Also allows you to use a hosts file through the settings. No root required, and from what I see it doesn't cause a noticeable drain in battery.
