@tits-r-us IDK if you ever did. But well i dont know you so you may have seen it somewhere.

@Haxk20 Not this exact puzzle but the characters like the upturned and downturned "F". Must be in a video game puzzle or something but I remember taking note of that. Oh well, now my mind is trapped until someone answers this.

@tits-r-us same problem, this looks oddly familiar from a long time ago.

    🤔

@Haxk20 skrew you, now I'm going to be awake for days trying to remember where I've seen this before.

@u-m-a Maybe solve it first and then post. Dont spoil it for everyone. Group work isnt part of this. Everyone must solve it on their own.

@Haxk20 Okay, I deleted my other comment. I'm still confused as to where I first saw this.

@Haxk20 Sorry. I wasn't aware of that. Deleted my comment.

basically just a different alphabet lul

That's Scandinavian runes. The Bluetooth logo is made of these characters BTW (nice story, Google it)

Not the solution of the puzzle, just the origin of those symbols.

@ultimaterage congrats. As i said. Who knows. Much harder puzzles may come.
  • 2
@ultimaterage But also please delete your previous comment. Dont spoil the fun for others.

Does it say "if you can read this, you're really smart. You should share it on your facebook to piss your friends off"

I've seen some of these in hellbade. Viking?

Futhark, this is old writings indeed

That is the proper direction to travel to, Avatar!

@karma please do not post clues here.
  • 1
Easy. But OK, I have the 24 futhark as tattoo.

Btw - 'th' has a rune of it's own, that's Thurisaz. You don't compound Tiwaz and Hagalaz. And a 'y' that is pronounced as 'e' as in "see" isn't Jera, it should be Isa. And an 'i' should be Eihwaz.

    The mother language <3

@Fast-Nop sure but can you imagine seeing people solve that ? This is part 1 not part 100
  • 1
    Is this some cicada shit?
  • 3
@Haxk20 With another font, I would have said, give it a statistical analysis, try to map the letter occurrence of English over it, then go for the doubled letters, but I wouldn't actually have done it because I wouldn't have been motivated. ^^

Considering we had runes in elementary school, it's not too hard. Although the meaning can be different if it's ancient norse or old norse
