    Ok?

It just means your app isn't important enough to their daily life to justify paying for it. Ands that's perfectly fine.

I have Airpods but since I'm on Android, I can't get the batter percentage without a 3rd party app. Since I need to use it almost daily, I had no problem paying $1 to remove the ads. (Shit I paid $150 for the airpods, might as well pay another to not have ads lol).

But there's a game I used to play and it had ads. It was like $3 to remove them but since it was something I don't need, I had no desire to pay $3 for it. Thats fine too.

Turn the fucking thing off right now then rebrand it, improve it and bring it back after a while on a sub model.

lol, I feel the pain. I also feel sorry since I've been the bad guy several times now :)

I do pay for a few essentials, like Mastodon, etc., but paying a few dollars for multiple apps is hard especially when I have to maintain an expensive Steam addiction.

There used to be this idea by the PirateBay guys, where you could assign $10 every month which would get distributed across the apps/websites you like/upvote/subscribe to. If I could control my app spend like that I would do things differently.

@LegacyOfTheVoid why would you pay for mastodon? They're a bunch of censoring cunts. At last use an open source, neutral client.

I find myself sometimes spending hundreds a month for takeaway yet feel bad when paying 14 euros for my netflix subscription or the fact that I had to purchase google drive subscription which costs me less than 2 euros a month. I literally was fighting with my storage limits for months and was so stubborn about avoiding spending extra couple euros. While simultaneuously wasting hundreds in other areas. So fucking stupid.
