    I actually liked assembly, too. But it's harder to actually plan out loops and if-else there imo.

    Assembly is nice, I do like the risc isas but x86 is a bit of a clusterfuck but still manageable imo

    @molaram not particularly difficult, all you have to do is run the relevant system call

    Of course if you're talking about bare metal (no OS) then that's a different thing

    Long time ago I wrote a couple of command-line tools on MC68000 (Amiga), as well as a routine for the boot sector on XT/AT to display the contents of the registers. The thing that most resembles assembly I wrote lately is some subroutines in MSIL (.NET).
