You are arguing as though UI required either a browser or Windows. You do know there are things like Qt, GTK, WxWidgets and a plethora of other solutions, each free and platform independent. Platform independence isn't a big deal, even C can be platform independent if you only rely on the specification and use either OpenGL or some platform independent framework for graphics.

@Lor-inc in fact i don't want electron resource hangers web apps, natives ones are fine (i like UWP ones, but all the rest are fine too)
