    I don’t know,
    More than 10.000 C# files
    Around 20.000 TypeScript files
    A lot of cold start actions (Like minifying etc)
    Compilations takes around 45 seconds
    Cold start around 3 minutes tho.

    This is probably the most common advice but, did you try downloading more ram?

    @frogstair are you compiling the libraries for the first time or something like that?
  • 1
    @frogstair Yeaaah, as much as I like c# and windows, UWP is a MEGA fail, i will not compile eny UWP in my life, ever.

    Xamarin is different tho

    @melezorus34 nope, every time I press build I wait for about threeb - four

    Have you try to use forward declare?

    Are you separating the xaml files in another runtime component? If not try to separate them, because normally their compiling is the very slow part. Even better would be for the xaml project to use c# if possible.

    @mr-user what's that?
    @MCloud what's that?

    I have compiled World of Warcraft world and auth server in 25 minutes on my hdd. Its a backend for a god damn mmo game. What are you building? Have you enabled "build everything under 30 minutes" setting in cmake?

    It can be used to reduce compile time.
