python3368227dThis really depends... dockerized mongodb is basically self hosting with extra steps. You will likely be spending more time configuring and optimizing the resources for your db then you’d want to. Which in the long run will cost man hours. If your company can afford having a sys Admin deal with this, then go ahead. Otherwise, I’d recommend for atlas or aws or whatever solution deals with scaling/maintaining/securing/monitoring your db for you.
