What's the game if you don't mind asking?

@HitWRight Mu Online. I bought items from other players.

    That seems like a lot.

Ok, I'm calling it if no-one else is - unless you're a millionaire raking in the big bucks, that's absolutely insane. Not really something to boast about, you could have bought a whole machine for that.

Is it game legal to buy items in the game ?

I know I've spent an absurd amount of money on just skins, sets, battlepasses, etc. on DOTA2 but damn $1200 is a lot.

@AlmondSauce maybe op gets lots of money from his job that lets him buy things like this comfortably 🤷 I don't see a problem with it if he has the money. My only issue is with the game disappearing and stuff

@AleCx04 I mean, you pays your money, you makes your choice of course - it's just a very weird thing to boast about given people get addicted to that crap.

If he posted saying "Just spent $1200 in two weeks gambling" for instance, I'm not sure it'd get the same reaction - but I don't see a great deal of difference.

For that amount of money he could've invited a hooker almost every day...

Out of interest, how do you find one ?

Oddly, googling "Hooker" and my location doesn't bring up any matches. :-)

It's worse than that Jim !

I suppose it might be a way to introduce myself to the neighbours..

I mean, if I knock on every door, I'm bound to find one eventually right.: :-)

My job pays well. And I work in a developed nation. But this is also big for me because I didn't grow up with a lot of money. I said no regrets because I would've spent that amount on hotel booking and plane ticket if only not for COVID. And the money I spent, I spent buying in-game items from other players. Most of them lost their jobs and from 3rd world nations. So it's kind of help from me to my fellow gamers since my job is still stable even in this situation.
