Being raped at age 15, I find it hard to trust women. I feel uneasy near them, I'm afraid of talking to them, I need to prepare myself for any kind of long interaction that involves a woman.

But when I interview a woman with someone else and I see my colleague trying to deliberately make her fail the interview, I intervene because equality feels so right to me.

People often try to rationalize their emotions to build some "reasoning" and "ideology" around them. This "reasoning" upon closer inspection always turns out to be bullshit.

Don't do this. Separate your emotions from the ideas you believe in and want to spread. You totally can feel like one and advocate for another.
