Html needs two weeks tops... JavaScript if you wanted to know everything! 4, months?

    College sucks

HTML and CSS shouldn't be taught for more than a week.

This is how people gets attracted to Wordpress

@aadilp you reckon you can learn CSS in a week? Html yes, but CSS...

@biscuit there isn't much to learn in css, if you use ide with suggestions and autocomplete, and memorization of all the attributes comes with time

@juzles... With time... That's my point.
In all fairness when I started people were still using tables for layout and ie5 and 6 were still popular, so I've spent a lot of years 'fighting' to get CSS to work. Different if you're learning now I guess.

@biscuit You never stop learning. The students just need an idea of how it works. They can figure it out on their own when they're assigned projects. So you don't need to have a month of classes dedicated to CSS.

Well, at least they spared you of PHP

@biscuit I started in those evil times too xD

@aadilp I actually don't think that's enough time for CSS to get a well rounded education of it
  • 1
@aadilp going by that theory I should be able to learn (be qualified) html, CSS, JavaScript and php in 4 weeks...

@biscuit @FitzSuperUser It's just my opinion. I'm not saying you can master CSS in a week. But it's enough to give you a direction.

@aadilp oh for sure a week is enough to build a basic site

It’s so freaking true! That was exactly what I did the first months of my college. Then I understood I had no sense and quit. My parents were sad, because I payed for it and spent a lot of money on writing services to https://essaymama.com/write-my-essa... , because I wasn’t much interested in writing them. But I never regretted it all, because I started learning everything by myself, working with essay guys (because they were lit and I didn’t want to stop reading their works) and found the job of my dreams in couple of months.
