I know this place has "rant" in it for a reason, but two things are a bit unsettling for me:
1) That there is still all this OS-war content. Sure, with my Linux boyhood I have seen quite some complaints about "M$" 'n shit, but that was like 10 years ago and shouldn't we grow up some time and see the bigger picture, or at least try not to have one's head stuck up one's arse?
2) Even if you take those quality rants from h3ll or Letmecode, isn't it still: everyone is stupid except of us. Developers, developers! We are the hub of the universe.

@h3ll Sorry, post was a bit abridged, would have liked to explain better, that the experience and and sureness your posts sometimes exhibit can be intimidating as to even wonder if I could end up on the stupid side of things with the other "seniors". Condemning these stupid fuckneggets may well be in order and entertains.
Question I wanted to ask somehow: Can't we go beyond that? Internally in how to wisely instruct the code monkeys - sure you could do it like Pei Mei, but mostly I'd prefer an attitude more humble than the Humble Programmer - you and others probably do this - and externally we could sometimes admit that not all (product) managers are stupid as hell?
    (Nice word: rantee)
