I can only think of one piece of enterprise software that is the absolute worst, and that's... Internet Explorer

    Sharepoint?

    Oh I wish that I worked with IE instead of lotus.

    @Linux @devdiddydog I worked with both and yeah they compete for first place at most hated products.

    @devdiddydog while I find Sharepoint frustrating, I don't think it's the worst

    @Linux WTH is Lotus? 😅

    Pretty sure that doesn't remotely qualify as enterprise software.

    @gibus Tell that to all the enterprises that rely on it every single day... Because that's the only place you'll find IE nowadays

    @vigidis Err No mate, absolutely no one relies on internet explorer, not even Microsoft. It's an archaic web browser, not enterprise software.

    @gibus you obviously haven't worked in the banking industry 😂

    @vigidis please enlighten me.

    @gibus what is there to enlighten? Old ass internal systems that rely on IE for interaction, where Edge's Compatibility Mode doesn't cut it... I have personally developed new features on such systems, with IE compatibility as a requirement, just in the last year

    @vigidis and which bank was this?

    Honestly ms has done worse and by that I mean their excel .NET interop API and CSOM which is a wrapper around the SharePoint API. I use both daily and if it wasn’t for the good pay and colleagues I wouldn’t stick around.

    @gibus kicking IE to the curb is harder than you might think. I work for a Fortune 500 company that still has a few internal web apps that only run on IE.

    Heck, there is a (very) small group of employees that have to run IE8 through Citrix for a single ancient webapp that doesn't work on anything newer.

    The Financial Services industry is not known for keeping up with the times.
