I hit a milestone in my PhD journey today. I wrote my advisor an "I'm so done with this shit" e-mail for the first time!

That's why I didn't make a PhD although I had two offers. In the industry, I can write my boss such an email at any time once I've found another job.

@Oktokolo I prefer imagining how I skin real people alive and feed their chopped forms to alley cats. But today I was pissed off by a robot and a laptop. So maybe I need to think of very brutal e-trash recycling process.

There are tons of games where you kill bots.
Most are even multiplayer...

@Oktokolo I actually don't like having the visuals determined for me. I think there was a research about how women prefer reading erotic stories than watching porn. So it's the same for me just with hate/anger. I like to have a story in my head, rather than get the visuals.

Hopefully you have an advisor who lets you vent. Mine does, it's such a blessing.

Then reading the log was quite fun... do you mean something like that ?
