Interviewer said that passing technical interview means that 90% of the time I will get the offer.
In the final interview with management, I can't answer some questions because I didn't study. Isn't final interview should just about getting to know each other like hobby, interest, talking about company products?
They gave me some puzzle to solve :(

After that, they wait another 1 week just to tell me I don't pass. Why the fuck they wait 1 week just to tell me that? They should just tell me 1 day after!

I still have other job openings right now, but the job searching has been very depressing.
I will give it like 1 more month. But if I can't get any leads, I will just give it up. Maybe tech is not the right job for me.
I will just go back to my old job in non-tech. It's not exactly my dream job, but at least they don't treat me like shit like this.

Don't give up on your dreams.

Go into an interview knowing what you want.

Now you know you don't want to do stupid puzzles, so the next time some douche pushes one over to you in an interview tell them no thanks and ask to leave politely.

Also your interviewer that said technical challenges will get you a job is full of shit.

A company that hires solely based on technical merit is a sweatshop and you don't want to work there.

Go somewhere where they want to hire YOU.

Maybe you were one of multiple candidates in a close competition for the same job- so they had to up the game to be able to decide which one of you to pick.

"They should just tell me 1 day after "

    That's a big expectation.
Saying no to someone that far down the process is a big decision for the company.
might take time to get everyone together cause you might wanna disscuss and get second opinions from devs etc.
Sometimes people disagree on if the candidate is a good fit that leads to extra time before making a decision.

Sometimes candidate A might be okay but they need to await candidate B to see if they are even better.

The interviewers might alsonhave lots of other work meetings after the interview so its hard to find the time to properly evaluate someone fast.

And when they finally decide to say No, people write down some words about why they didn't get the job, and perhaps some feedback. To avoid just giving a Blunt No.
(Yes I know that might be silly as some candidates just wanna know ASAP if they should move on or not. But some are crushed when told No if they don't get why)

But on the positive side : you got to the final interview! You passed the tech interview.
That means you're good and absolutely a fit!

I know it feels like shit to get turned down but sometimes it's just bad luck and you would've got the job if they hadn't found someone who had 1% more experience.

@jiraTicket is right - sometimes it takes a long time to see, screen, and choose from, the candidates. That it took a week is probably a good reflection on you, if anything. If they say no right away you probably dropped a major bollock in the interview.

Don't lose hope. I've hired enough people that I can tell you: it's nearly always that someone edged it over you, very rarely that you weren't up to it.

It depends, i usually get turned down the next day after reaching the final stage in interviews. I did well but someone else did better so it’s easy for them to let me know i didn’t make it. It’s too bad they waited that long if they knew all this time you didn’t do better

When it comes to job hunting forget about logic or courtesy in the hiring process and just try your best, after hundreds of interviews just forget about the expectation of being replied or given a feedback, just continue with the interviews like there's no tomorrow until you get a surprise call/email of "you're hired".

@h4xx3r you totally nailed it. You can land the job even after bombing the interview and doing much worse than other candidates simply bc you like the same football team as the manager. Others lose out simply bc the manager didn’t see a Dallas cowboys bumper sticker on their car
