    For me it's not true either. Especially when copy pasting I'm revisiting the code and fix some tech dept and sometimes catch small bugs.

    This is why you run a universal styleguide with easily editable variables (I.E. SASS Mixins) and have a unified base style set - Can’t have no bugs if you consistently test and develop the universal styleguide to the latest standards

    I do this actually. I have pre-made code that I need too often.

    I could write a library for this. But most of the code needing the things I write, are closed source and companies don't want to pay to have a private package.

    So I just copy/paste on to the project.

    And normally, I'm the one that dictates the style guides and the paradigm used. Copy/pasting feels like the code belongs to the project right away
