Not an interview but yesterday my client sent me a message asking me why I wanted to discuss the price of the project. Apparently he thought that he wasn't going to pay anything for it.

    but didn't you mention the price at the beginning of the project?

    I've read it here on devRant that you should have a contract with milestones or 50% upfront payment.

    @heyheni the thing is, I was recommended from a friend (this friend was going to do the work but something happened and he asked me if I wanted to take it) and I wanted to be sure that we were going to use the same contract. The client just wanted to fool me.

    A polite way to ask is "what is this ? Non-profit organization ?"

    The appropriate thing to do here is charge extra for consultation as you had to explain the contract again. Just charge enough to get you a six pack and a pizza!
