Did anyone get an invitation from Google to solve a programming challenge?

Yea, enough searches with tagged keywords and it will present the foo.bar challenges.

    It's a pre-interview process for randoms.

    Yeah.
I didn’t care to. Working for google goes against my morals. (Tracking, reporting, consumer manipulation, collectivism politics, etc.)

Like @C0D4 said, it’s just a random chance per search with specific keywords.

If you want to see it, search for e.g. “dependency injection” a couple dozen times in a row.

Also: The upper levels are hard, and some are fun to think about. (Pattern detection, etc.)

Never, but would be fun to do just to see what they are. Would probably never wanna work there tho 😅

My ad blocker probably hid it. I can't imagine dealing with their bullshit hiring process.

Apparently, the turn-over rate when working at Google is 1.3 years. The perks are a trap. For example, dinner service doesn't start until after 6:00pm which means you have to work that long to eat dinner.

I don't use google and never will, so no i "sadly" won't get an invitation

I did, the animation is honestly kinda cool

Dropped it after completing level 3 though because the puzzles where getting more and more annoying with badly specified tasks. At that point it's not figuring out *how* to solve it but *what* to solve

@12bitfloat Yeah. Some of them could definitely have been written better.

I did enjoy the theme. It was amusing.

BTW, it gave me flashbacks from 2004 (and I just carbon-dated myself. Fuck.)
