Hazarth739075dI mean, if the pass rate suddenly increased when people were not monitored, there's a good chance it was due to cheating sooo... I don't think it was about money

netikras3093675dChristians found a way to justify mass murders, slaughters, destruction of innocent people, villages and cities.
Students finding a way to justify Uni asking them to take tests in a controlled environment as means to use and abuse them doesn't surprise me. -
netikras3093675d@green-portal IDK, if you guys pass equally well in a controlled environment - perhaps they'll be convinced that you're in fact better students at home and return the exams-from-home policy.
Convince their doubts unfounded -
Hazarth739075d@green-portal I think you're not being fair to the universities because you hate them and studying is a pain.

Nanos1179475dI thought the markings was over-generous during Covid times so everyone would get to feel better.. ?

@netikras a way for universities to justify whatever, stolen from the way Christians have justified mass murder, like you proposed.

Exams are unnecessary for grading anyway. They're a good learning event though.
My University:
Hey everyone, we noticed that during the period of the pandemic when most exams were online the overall pass rate for courses increased a lot, this means that less students were retaking courses and University is missing out on some extra cash.
To overcome this we decided to make all exams face to face so that the pass rate can plummet again, therefore students won’t have a choice but to pay us more money to retake exams and courses 😈
