A fucking video would do though

    I used to think that
Now after having to reread documentation all the time. I'm screaming "gimme a video and show what you mean!"

and not just a documentation but a well written one, that actually make some sense ( if possible pls )

@iceb, or better documentation, like @We3D

@electrineer Even with a mother fucker?

Why not both? I litter most of my docs with animated gifs illustrating examples, snippets, etc. A few (older) mgrs used to make fun of em' ("What are we, Geocities?""), but they do/did help fill in the blanks between what is written and what is meant.

Video are and always will be fucking shit.

There's 50,000 words of "umm, but yea, umm, and if we do this, umm"

You can't skip through it to find the 5 seconds you actually want.

Give me a PDF and a search box any day.

@C0D4 yes, except fuck pdf! Gimme a freaking html page that adapts to my screen size. I don’t want to print it, I want to read it!

@Demolishun I do get a little sadistic pleasure in sending links to devs who ask "How do I get a connection string out a config file? I read the docs and can't figure it out."

I send the link, which as an animated gif of using a code snippet that answers the exact question.

Reply is usually "Wow, that's easy. I must have missed that part."

I want to say "You didn't even try. Read the <bleep>ing docs before bothering me again, because I'll know." but usually respond..

"No problem. The wiki also has info about the 50 or so other snippets, item templates, and project templates. They will really help speed up starting a new project."

Getting more and more into Blazor and wow, it's a wild west of different ideas to do the same thing. ~10 projects and most of them have their own way they authenticate (outside our documented standard). That's on me. I made the assumption the Blazor 'of-the-box' project was self-explanatory. I couldn't have been more wrong.
