Fuck all the corporate bullshit

- We support diversity but we’re quite happy to make money in countries that don’t
- Join all our clubs so we can take photos of our staff having ‘fun’
- Let’s send our staff 10 corporate bullshit emails a day
- Let’s have as many company update meetings as possible about absolutely nothing
- We are a family
- Share how great we are on your social network

And the worst of all

- Even though you are a developer you can’t have local admin rights because of security

Fuck this, I’m done and planning my exit!!

    - We are the most environmentally friendly company in existence, look at how serious we are with our sustainability programs! What's that you're asking, who are our major customers? The fossil fuel industry.

I am kinda on the same lines.. My client yesterday decided to jump in GitHub and start to question the code that we wrote when the system broke a little bit.

I've been working for 2+ years and they never did this. Them pulling this move now pushed me over the edge to submit my resignation.

@chonky-quiche Also me : what do you have and where's the party ;)

Honestly, I get the last one.
I wouldn't trust the majority of software devs I've seen with admin privileges in a company network.

I administer a kind of subnet inside the company used for engineering and the amount of bullshit developers come up with is actually impressive to an extent.

@electrineer We plan to be carbon neutral by 2050. And by that we mean that we just buy carbon credits. Which mean nothing and are just greenwashing.

@galena I'm wondering if we work in the same company

    — We're all about culture. Culture is in our DNA. We always strive to foster a culture-driven environment. What the hell is culture, you say? You do whatever we say and shut the hell up, that's what it is.

    @ethernetzero culture is for bacteria.

Learnt the hard way that the amazing culture you see in videos on LinkedIn are nothing but propaganda

@TrevorTheRat yeah welcome to the corporate world, we have cooockies, tons of 'em... should be enough for everyone

Are we working in the same company?

The one that recently got that BS title of B cert corp?

Asking because mine is also rolling out some shitty 'security' software where you have to ask for permission for every sudo you do!

It is 'by no mean surveillance' but can wipe your computer data remotely!

Polished my CV and bookmarked some jobs!
