Visual studio (2017), since I switched to C# and visual studio I'd never go back, my dev life became so much better, enjoyable, faster and easier ❤

I can't understand why VS is so good... When I tried it, I didn't find those functionalities that every body seems to fall in love in

@Orionss intellisense and refactoring over the top ... than all the integration with MS services, the thing that basically you can use .NET to cover everything (web, mobile, desktop...), you can use even different programming languages in the same project....and much more.

how long did you use it? what did you do? what didn't you find compared to other IDEs?

I made a little Tetris in C++ for training, nothing more

@Orionss Visual Studio is not the IDE you should use for c++. It really is not its best feature. Not even close really.

Personally I love the publish feature (the intellisense is also very very good). Intel xdk decided to stop publishing mobile apps to store. Visual Studio was there for me. 😊😊

It's... huge and enterprisey. But... okay.

@nikolatesla it's huge, depends of what you install and need, because you can develop almost everything for last 25 years...min install is 600mb
