At my school, there was this thing called avid, it was basically English lesson, replacing one of your electives.

I didn't do avid, but everyone I knew did, (I thought it was for idiots lol).
I was told, three was A FULL HOUR LESSON on HOW TO SHAKE SOMEONE'S HAND.

Not sure if kids are dumb, it if teachers/country/curriculum are retarded

Wtf,

Its those fucking HR people... they're running everything.

On a serious note, being able to properly communicate and have proper body language probably isn't the worst thing ever.

Communication is very, very useful, but as far as I heard, nobody learnt anything about how to communicate.

    Rip time lol

@Tytanium True...an hour for handshakes is a but excessive. I could probably get it done in 10 minutes and save everyone their time

"Ok basically just grab the hand firmly. Ok good job. Now two solid shakes and look directly at the other person. Great job! Class dismissed." Lol

Now if they taught how TCP/IP worked as well, that'd be great

Sounds like a course I could have used ;) I can write killer code, but am struggling with everyday "simple" stuff.
